Cel Phone Connection For Computer
Connecting with our teen is more and more important as technology and "busyness" pulls them farther and farther away from us. Why is it important? Because connection makes memories and fosters relationship, and because our teens desperately need relationships with those that loved them first, regardless of whether they think so or not.
Today’s teens are anywhere but home the majority of the time. Where are they? They’re at school, they’re at the mall, they’re at friends homes, movie theatres, in cars or on their bicycles. They may be places we don’t even know. However, maybe they are at home, in their bedrooms, earphones to iPod, Skyping or updating their Facebook status.(It does get old after a few minutes.) Or, maybe they’re real close, physically that is. They may be at the kitchen table, head bowed to their texting phones, oblivious to their surroundings, which includes you.
How then can you connect with a child who is not physically or personally present with you? Don’t be disheartened. There actually are many possibilities. The following are a few novel ways that I have found to connect with my teens, ages 15 and 17. If one doesn’t fit right with your child, try another. Or, try it again, as you never know how your teen’s mood might have thwarted your efforts.
